What you Eat in Private, Shows up in Public

Just six days ago I joined Weight Watchers for the second time in my life. However, this time I was forced to look at a number that has been nagging me for the past year. Its not a pretty number. Thats all you need to know.
So anyways. I should probably back up and tell you that is was a picture that pushed me to do this. A picture that I will forever refer to as the turning point in my life. It was a picture of me in my bridesmaid dress from my cousin Aprils wedding. When you think you are looking pretty decent, dressed up, with your hair-did, and smashed into a picture of a bunch of other girls all wearing the exact same thing as you....its very easy to realize how absoutly bad you look.
So. There was my epiphany. And now I have also persuaded my best friend AL, as we shall call her, to join as well. So we are two point watching freaks now. She called me when she was at the grocery store last night, trying to rack her brain and see if there was anything else she needed. This is what I told her to load into her buggy and maybe it will help some of you other health seeking ladies/men:
-Natures Own, Double Fiber Bread-0 points for one slice. this bread is almost perfect.
-Tyson chunk chicken in a can (makes a great chic salad with low fat mayo-esp for people who dont like tuna)
-Kraft Mayo-the baby blue jar, its low fat or fat free something-very tasty to a girl who grew up on Dukes, trust me.
-Tuna Creations-any flavor, great in a wrap with veggies or just for a tuna sand.
-Lays Light! chips...wayyy better than baked. They taste just like full flavor fat potato chips, but at 75 cal and 0 fat for 20 of them, it is a flippin dream.
-Any of the Smart one Weight watcher meals. they are fab. healthy choice and SOME lean cuisine are gross.
-Weight watcher cheese sticks. they are more expensive, HOWEVER they are only one point per stick. you could buy a cheaper version for more points though.
-Cups of diced peaches, or really whatever fruit you like. SOmetimes i find myself too lazy to actually wash friut. and this is a grab and go thing.
-Mushrooms. A whole half cup of them are 0 points.
-Fat free milk
...And these are just a few of my favorite things!! hehehe...So i hope you enjoy. This blog will be about my battle with the bulge, and hopefully full of laughs as me and AL challenge our self in the gym and battle with Mc Donald french fry urges. They say, if you can do anything for 21 days, it becomes a habit. 15 more days till my good habits stick :)
